Hi! I’m Maya!

A little bit about me…

Maya Michalski got their start as Annie at the age of 9, and they haven’t stopped since! Maya was raised in DFW Texas, surrounded by performance opportunities and education. They studied Musical Theatre at Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts and found “theatrical homes” in local theaters such as Casa Manana, Stage West, and Wishing Star Stage Co.

As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, Maya loves using the stage as a platform to discover and express herself while bringing light to queer stories. Since moving to the Big Apple, Michalski had become a regular performer at 54 Below and The Greenroom 42.

When not performing, they can be found baking Pie Crust Cookies at Janie’s, altering some vintage thrift finds, or nerding out about Ben Folds!
